Kumortuli is the hub of Idol making in Kolkata. All the artists and craftsmen are so talented that their piece of work leaves us spellbound every year. So I decided to track them in various stages of the creation of this unique art form. This photograph of Ma Durga with Asura is my favorite from my first visit where the blue transparent roof gave the snap a dreamy look.
