After Kolkata Book fair, Handicrafts fair is my favorite. Hundreds of artists from across Bengal come to the fair with their family. They stay at the fair ground, create their piece of art and sell them at the same venue. This is one of the most colorful events of Kolkata. You can have a first hand experience of how the art is created. Due to it's diversity and color it has generated a lot of enthusiasm among the photographers of Kolkata. I took this photograph of the child, son of a terracotta artist, who was rather surprised to see the big lens of my friends camera :D
