This photograph is taken in Kolakata Handicraft Fair. These are my favorite dolls made of jute. In Bengal people are struggling to revive the jute culture. Now jute is not confined to making of bags and sacks. Nearly every thing we use in daily life is available in jute now. But the plastic market has engulfed us so badly that we are unable to accept the old, beautiful and environment friendly alternative.
